Day one practice observations – Arch was toughest on …

Texas took to the practice fields on Tuesday and OB was out in full force to bring you our observations.

– We’ve heard before (and witnessed it somewhat today) that Arch isn’t the biggest vocal leader, but he definitely commands respect from his teammates. And he doesn’t mind being vocal when it comes to critiquing himself. Texas does one drill, where multiple defenders kind of halfhazardly try to rip the ball away from the QBs and RBs. It never works. Except on Monday, it did work once on Arch, where he fumbled the ball. Arch let his displeasure be known with one very loud four-letter expletive.

– I thought CJ Baxter moved well from what I could tell. He’s wearing a big brace, but he was running second in RB drills, behind only Tre Wisner.

– Christian Clark is built like a freaking tank. That dude’s legs literally made me do a double take …
