Just a Bit Outside: Is Texas Going to Win it All?

The final preparations for the Texas Longhorns are already underway. The gameplan has been installed and the players have been practicing it for the last two weeks, the depth chart is now set and the equipment trailer is either already on the road to Columbus or soon will be. This is not going to be another article delving into the minutia of training camp. We’ve said all there is to be said about how good the defense is, how worried people should be about the offensive line and how good we think Arch Manning could be (FYI, I am contractually obligated to put Manning’s name into every one of my columns at least once so I’ve fulfilled my duties). Truly the only thing left to do is to sit back and watch this season unfold. So since I’m not going to prattle on about the dead horse, It’s time to gaze into the crystal ball and see what we can expect in week one and beyond. These are my official, on the record, predictions for the 2026 college football season.
