Bo Ogden Biography and Recruitment
At 6-foot-5, Ogden’s perimeter shooting immediately stands out on film. He uses his threat from beyond the arc to his advantage. Staying active off the ball and keeping opposing defenses honest with his spot-up shooting. Ogden’s ability to slash through lanes and score in transition makes him a strong fit for the up-tempo system that head coach Sean Miller is implementing at Texas. Combined with his knack for creating a basket when needed, Ogden is an intriguing prospect.
During the 3SSB circuit, Ogden averaged 20 points per game on 47% shooting from the floor. Pulled down 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 46% from behind the arc, and 87% from the free-throw line. He took over 7 three-point shots per game and made around 3 per game. Ogden shot 49% on catch-and-shoot attempts, including an impressive 58% when he was unguarded (via Adam Finklestein, 247sports).
With Ogden’s commitment, Texas secures a strong offensive player and someone who can develop into a key foundational piece. Excelling in his role and playing unselfishly. Ogden becomes the Longhorns’ first commitment in the class of 2026. And the first high school pledge under head coach Sean Miller.
