This Tuesday is the maybe most pivotal College Football Playoff Rankings release in the history of it's kind. Leaving Florida State (13-0) out in favor of a one loss Alabama team, whose only loss came to the Team ahead of them.. Texas, was massive! But on Tuesday Night, December 2nd, the CFP Committee needs to "DO THE RIGHT THING"
They made a big mistake in the opening College Football Playoff Rankings a few weeks ago with the placement of Utah, who lost to Texas Tech in Week 4 and BYU in Week 8. Their only two Top 25 opponents. In Week 10, the AP had Utah ranked 24th overall and Cincinnati 17th. Utah hosted Cincinnati in Week 10 and beat the breaks off of them 45-14. That win vaulted Utah 7 spots in the AP and caused them to Open the CFP Rankings at 13.. mind you, Cincinnati was NOT ranked in the CFPs opening rankings. So Utah at 7-2 was the 4th highest ranked 2-loss team behind Notre Dame, Texas and Oklahoma.
