Texas tight end Jack Endries tells OB he will skip his senior season and enter the NFL Draft.
“My time at Texas was my favorite. Always a Longhorn,” Endries said.
Endries spent one year in Austin after playing his first two seasons at Cal. At Texas, he caught 33 passes for 246 yards and 3 touchdowns. The 6-4, 240-pound Endries had his best game of the season in the Longhorns’ win over Texas A&M, when he caught 4 passes for 93 yards. In his college career, Endries hauled in 124 passes for 1,377 yards and 7 touchdowns.
With Endries’ departure, the Longhorns are left with five tight ends on the roster. Spencer Shannon and Will Randle will be juniors in 2026, while Jordan Washington, Nick Townsend and Emaree Winston will be sophomores. The Longhorns are likely to add at least one player to the position group via the transfer portal.
