At 6-foot-4, Laurencikas is a crafty finisher around the rim. It excels in pick-and-roll scenarios offensively, mixing that with his combination of vision and playmaking, which makes for a guard with good upside in a Sean Miller style of offense. Laurencikas is a patient offensive player who will raise the second unit as a floor general next season.

With his commitment, Texas secures a secondary creator at the guard position while adding playmaking and facilitating what this roster needed, while of course presenting experience to the guard position. Laurencikas is a piece that can give quality minutes for the Longhorns next season, especially with the second unit. He is the sixth addition for Sean Miller this offseason.
