It was a cold night in Columbus, Ohio on January 20th, but the Ohio State fans who weren’t lucky enough to be able to go to Atlanta to watch their Buckeyes beat Notre Dame for the national title found another way to keep themselves warm.

Couches are always looking over their shoulders in Columbus … they never know when they’re going to be got.

It’s not just couches that aren’t safe in Columbus, visiting fans have been known to be on the receiving end of some less than friendly welcomes.  Some of you on Orangebloods still talk about your experiences the last time Texas played in Ohio in 2005.

Fans and opposing teams get tough receptions at the Horseshoe.  Ohio State has a 30-3 record at home since 2020.  Michigan has two of those wins and Oregon has the other.

Winning in Ohio won’t be easy, but the Texas Longhorns are looking forward to the challenge.
