Former Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers received the news he was looking for on Tuesday when he was named to the Miami Dolphins 53-man roster.
Ewers was drafted by the Dolphins in the 7th round of the 2025 NFL Draft and was expected to make the roster coming into training camp, but a rough first game had his prospects suddenly in doubt. Yet, strong performances in his final two pre-season games paved the path for him to make the opening day roster.
