At 6-foot-7, Punch brings a physical, defensive-minded presence to the Longhorns’ frontcourt. He was one of TCU’s most impactful defenders, posting a 4.5 defensive box plus-minus, which ranked among the top marks in the Big 12. His 7.4 block percentage also ranked near the top of the conference, highlighting his ability to protect the rim and disrupt opposing offenses.

With his commitment, Texas adds a high-level two-way player who immediately strengthens the frontcourt. Punch projects as a key piece alongside Matas Vokietaitis and is expected to compete for a starting role as the Longhorns continue to reshape their roster.
