Forget about spring practices for just a moment. Forget about the offensive line discussions. Hell, forget about injuries. Or the stress that everyone is potentially going to carry around with them week to week this season.
I want to focus on something at the top of this column this week that I brought up in the aftermath of the Ohio State game ... the process.
As Texas prepares to enter the 2026 season, the bar it is setting for itself isn't to be damn good. Or even great. The goal with a roster that could field as many as five first-round picks in the 2027 NFL Draft is to be exceptional. The very best. A one of one.
